Visiting Austin Dogtown
We’d love to show you our facility! For everyone’s safety, our facility is closed to visitors during usual business hours. However, tours are available Monday through Thursday at 3:45 PM by appointment only. Email info@dogtownaustin.com to book a time to explore our facility.
We do have a structured process for daily pickup and drop offs. This helps maintain calm pack energy and prevents leash reactivity issues.
Drop-offs
- Pull up to black gate area in carpool line
- Remain in your car if another client is outside
- After you’ve entered gated area, remove their leash (leave collar on), and wait for us to come to you
- Please ensure gate stays closed until your dog is inside
- Staff will leash or call your dog inside
- For boarding: bring only labeled food/meds in disposable bags
Pickups
- Pull up to black gate area in carpool line
- One person at a time enters gated area with leash
- Staff will verify pickup and open door
- Your dog will be brought out for leashing

Q: Where are you located and what areas do you serve?
A: We’re located at 537 Woodward St, Austin, TX 78704, just 3.5 miles south of downtown. We proudly serve South Austin and surrounding areas, including downtown, St. Edwards, South Congress, Travis Heights, Bouldin Creek, Zilker, and Barton Hills. Though, that doesn’t mean you can’t make an appointment if you live outside of those areas! We’re located close to the airport, which makes your boarding experience easy and convenient.
